NAPLES – Capital Care Group Certified Public Accountants, an accounting, tax and financial planning services firm with two offices in Southwest Florida, merged with Fort Myers-based accounting firm Wallace & Associates.
The companies joined forces in December, according to a statement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Capital Care Group has a team of CPAs – Phillips, Cheryl Deavers, Brian Ellegard and Mary Lewis-McLaughlin – who have served the community for more than 30 years, the release said, “specializing in the tax and accounting services of high quality and financial planning. with a long standing reputation for their personal touch as a guide and trusted partner in their clients’ finances.
Wallace & Associates, meanwhile, is a full-service accounting and consulting firm known for specializing in retirement planning, business advice, investments, litigation support, estates and trusts and personal financial planning, the release said. He also offers tax controversy assistance for federal and state IRS tax issues, as well as representation during a sales and use tax audit.
