Nottingham University Business School China is now seeking outstanding scholars to join us as Assistant Professors/Associate Professors/Professors of Accounting.
Nottingham University Business China (NUBS China) is a young business school with a strong international and research orientation. We are part of the EQUIS and AMBA accredited Nottingham University Business School. Campuses in the UK, Malaysia and here in Ningbo, China work closely together and offer the University of Nottingham degrees.
NUBS China currently has about 3,280 Chinese and international students, with about 550 enrolled in postgraduate programs, including a doctoral program. We have a diverse international faculty of 105, based in Ningbo China, from 20 countries and regions. English is the language of instruction for all our programs. We have strengthened our focus on high-impact research, personalized continuing education and high-quality teaching and are expanding our academic staff accordingly. We have a vibrant research community that emphasizes research excellence. NUBS China is an international academic gateway for research on business, finance and economics in China and a center of expertise on Chinese enterprises going global.
We are looking to recruit high caliber researchers at the junior and senior levels in accounting to join us. You will be called upon to contribute to the enrichment of accounting publications; Lead and support the development of new research projects as a principal investigator and as a collaborator, from inception to research grant application to project completion; Lead research and collaborative partnerships with other educational institutions and external organizations; Mentor doctoral students, research fellows and improve the quality of research degree programs; Contribute to UG and PG teaching programs through course development and teaching; Strengthen the department’s external research networks and increase its notoriety in China and internationally.
You must hold a PhD and have a proven ability to publish in leading international accounting journals. Appointments to leadership positions require extensive publishing experience in leading international journals and strong evidence of attracting research funding and/or leading research projects. We are also particularly interested in candidates with extensive experience in professional accounting services.

The successful candidate will be offered a five-year contract that can be extended by mutual agreement.
