Intuit QuickBooks partners with OnPoint Accounting Group

Intuit QuickBooks and OnPoint Accounting Group have agreed to a new strategic partnership that “will focus on enhancing both companies’ product offerings and vision to support start-ups, freelancers and small businesses.”

The companies said they will aim to support businesses on their journey with greater financial insight and understanding to help them succeed.

OnPoint Accounting Group said the combination of resources and software will “eliminate complex financial and administrative processes” and allow start-ups to focus on making “important and informed” business decisions, while “enhancing their growth and their prosperity” – all thanks to a better understanding and understanding of the financial situation of their business.

OnPoint added that it would support its various practices in Scotland and across the UK. It will also enhance its “around the clock support” offering to ease customer concerns about day-to-day business finances, payments and advice with a technology-driven financial solution that enables small businesses to thrive.

QuickBooks will focus its efforts on providing the technology and tools to support OnPoint and its customers.

Nick Williams, Sales Director at Intuit QuickBooks UK, said, “We welcome this new collaboration with OnPoint Accounting Group and are delighted to announce this agreement which follows a number of strategic announcements we made this year.

“Investing in the future and growth of small businesses is at the heart of our business, and we are delighted to partner with OnPoint who share our philosophy of making a difference.”

He added, “We believe that in the current climate, there has never been a more important time for increased collaboration with organizations that support start-ups. We’re excited to be able to offer the right tools to our customers to give them the information they need to face each day with confidence, the foresight to stay ahead of the game, and the power to be more successful.

Johann Goree, MD at OnPoint Accounting Group, said, “Helping small businesses thrive is at the heart of what our practices do, both individually and as a group. Being a strategic partner of QuickBooks will allow us to further facilitate the growth and success of our clients and practices. One of our main areas of focus over the past 18 months has been supporting small businesses and the next generation of start-ups to not just survive, but thrive through this pandemic.

“We have done everything we can in our work to reflect our company ethos by offering support, guidance and advice where possible – often for free – to a plethora of small businesses, helping them through a period difficult.”
