Gers have become the first Scottish club to sign a multi-year agreement with the analytics firm, allowing them to obtain insights and perform benchmarking across multiple leagues.
StatsBomb, which is also a partner of Rangers Reviewprovides clubs with a comprehensive player and league database, providing access to data-based football information from all major leagues and players worldwide.
The company says Rangers will “benefit from innovative features captured in StatsBomb’s IQ platform”, where the data will “support a multi-disciplinary, single-club approach and be used in performance analysis and sports science as well as in scouting.
