Triad grad receives $2,500 scholarship to help with accounting studies

Sydney Hartoin, a recent graduate of Triad High School, received a $2,500 scholarship from the SITE Advancement Foundation to help her pursue her studies in accounting at Austin Peay State University this fall.

Sponsored by SCI Engineering, Inc., Hartoin is one of six deserving students from the St. Louis area to receive a scholarship from SITE this year. These scholarships are made possible through voluntary contributions from SITE member companies and the SITE Advancement Foundation.

“With the cost of college and technical education rising rapidly, a $2,500 scholarship can have a big impact on an aspiring student’s ability to pursue their educational and career goals,” said Jeremy Bennett, principal. Executive of the SITE Improvement Association. “We are happy to be able to support Sidney and wish him well in his studies.”

High school graduates and students with a parent employed by one of SITE’s 230 member companies are eligible for the scholarships, which are based on each student’s academic achievement, community involvement and financial need.
