YPB Group Ltd Assigned Seven New SKUs And Adds Advanced Analytics To CONNECT Platform

The YPB CONNECT platform has also been added to a new production line at Nature One Dairy’s contract manufacturing facility, which will be used on NOD’s TUB product line.

YPB Group Ltd’s CONNECT platform (ASX: YPB) has been awarded seven new SKUs under the Nature One Dairy and Nature’s Care MSA, bringing the number of products covered by these customers.

Each SKU is marked with a serialized QR code from YPB’s CONNECT platform.

The individual codes generate revenue for YPB as well as the development of digital product landing pages.

The YPB CONNECT platform has also been added to a new production line at Nature One Dairy’s contract manufacturing facility, which will be used on NOD’s TUB product line and will also be offered to the customer line under Nature One contract.

Added analytical capacity

YPB has also just released a new advanced analytics capability that will be offered as a subscription service to new and existing customers.

New analytical capabilities include:

  • Demographics, including age group and sex;
  • First-party analysis, authentication and data capture trends;
  • Best performing segments by product SKU; and
  • Best performing country by product SKU.

These analytical capabilities are a new feature of the CONNECT platform that YPB says will increase CONNECT’s appeal to customers.

CEO John Houston said, “Our CONNECT team did a tremendous job in Q1 2021 to reduce the cost of hosting the platform by working closely with the Amazon Web Services (AWS ) and to improve analytics support in China.

“The newly released enhanced analytics packages will add revenue, appeal and functionality to CONNECT.

“We also appreciate the support provided to CONNECT by our existing customers with the addition of 7 additional SKUs.”

Hosting costs improved by 40%

During the first quarter of 2021, YPB also improved CONNECT’s operational hosting costs by 40%, supporting the already high margins posted across all of YPB’s product lines.

In addition, the platform’s operational efficiency in China has been improved without increasing operational costs.

Confirmation of product authenticity

YPB’s proprietary smartphone-enabled technology suite allows consumers to confirm product authenticity and, for brands, it triggers consumer engagement.

The combination of YPB’s smartphone authentication solutions and its SaaS CONNECT platform creates “smart” product packaging, opening up profitable digital and direct marketing channels between brands and their consumers.

CONNECT gathers actionable data on consumer preferences. It can then host tailor-made marketing campaigns directly on the scanned smartphone.
